Our self catering house also boasts a fabulous cottage garden which is accessed through the Conservatory. The garden is fully enclosed with walls and a gate at the foot of the garden. There are many flower beds offering a striking array of old shrubs, perennials and roses. There are also Herbs, Berries and Scottish Heathers.
We even have a patio in the centre of the garden made from Edinburgh cobble stones!
Just a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh Villa brings you to 47 manicured acres with sunken Italian gardens, rose gardens, winter gardens, topiaries, lawns and lovely old trees. A lovely place to pack a picnic and visit with the family. There is also a childs large playpark which just received a climbing wall.
Edinburgh Villa is located on a lovely tree lined street, the small front garden is fully enclosed with iron railings and a small knee high wall with gate (lovely iron detail on the roof too!). An apple tree, perennials and potted plants decorate the front. There is parking at the front door though driving is not necessary for visiting Edinburgh
